LedRocks develops and produces efficient lamps and light units from natural stone. Our team has combined functionality with aesthetics to create long-lasting lamps with a clear and simple design.
LedRocks transforms natural stone from simple geometric shapes to modern light units. The texture and natural structure of the stone is accentuated by the light source.
All our light units have been developed in Switzerland, and are adaptable to many applications. The structure and colour of the stone finish is highly varied. Some stone types are translucent, with transparency dependent on the thickness and structure of the stone and the intensity of the light source.
We work with selected stone quarries in Switzerland. Our product range currently includes sandstone from the upper Lake Zürich region, serpentine from St. Gotthard, and quarzite from Vals. The sandstone models have a minimalist appearance, whilst the colours and surface texture of serpentine units create a sophisticated ambience. Valser quarzite is available in several shades of grey, and displays characteristic quarz inclusions.
When travelling we are always looking for suitable materials for our lamps, and our impressions from these travels have provided inspiration for new models. This has led to the recent creation of a new standard collection in philippine marble.
